Prepare to enjoy The 33rd Navan Choral Festival which takes place in Navan Co. Meath from 10th- 13th May.The Festival will see some 60 Choirs battling it out for honours at one of Ireland’s most prestigious Choir Festivals. There are competitions for Solo Singing,School Choirs,Youth Choirs,Adult Choirs & Church Choirs as well as a very keen Piano and Solo Singing Competition.The undoubted highlight again this year will be The National Choir Of The Year Competition sponsored by Navan Rotary Club, which takes place in The Newgrange Hotel at 7pm on Sunday 13th May. Just a note about Junior Schools:
As I am sure you are aware Junior Schools go up to age 7/8 Years. There could be a possibility of having such category in the Festival .The difference in voice control between a seven and twelve year old is immense, so if you have a Choir in that Category please get in touch with us and we will see what we can do.

We are adding a “Glee” competition this year for Primary & Secondary School Choirs.
Following on the success of last year’s event, Navan Choral Festival 2012 promises a bigger and better choral festival than ever before. Although Navan has always been at the forefront of promoting choral music, this year we expect to surpass all expectations.
As always the main event of the competition will be the National Choir of the Year Competition which is attracting the cream of choirs in Ireland today. It would be advised to enter early for this competition as like last year places may be limited. 1st. Prize of €1000.00 & 2nd Prize of €350.00 for this Competition
